Program FAQs
What if I am not 100% sure about what I want to do for a career?
Your academic advisors, faculty, and the Center for Career and Professional Development are all here to help explore which interest could become your passion.
How do I decide what to study?
Ask your peers, mentors, teachers, etc. for their perspective on where they feel you excel naturally — there might just be a path you have never considered. And while it may not be the most fun approach, consider where your course of study can lead you in terms of what your income expectations may be. You do not have to put your dreams aside — there are often fields that put your passion into professional practice. One more thing: We are here to help. The Center for Career and Professional Development offers the resources you need to explore potential career options and what may be a good fit for you in a major.
What if I still cannot decide when it comes time to declare my major?
That is what our academic advisors are here for! Trust us, you are not the first student to be stumped about which career path fits. Your academic advisor has tons of advice that can shape your college experience and propel you toward a fulfilling career.
