Learning Catered To

Here at Post, we recognize that every student is different — which is why we make it personal, particularly when it comes to your academic experience.

Q:

What kind of personalized help can I get with my academics?

At Post, you have the opportunity for one-on-one advising sessions with Academic Success Counselors who take the time to get to know you, your goals, strengths, and opportunities for development. They help you plan your degree program and figure out what combination of majors, minors, concentrations, and courses will best prepare you for your desired career path.

Q:

My current work/life schedule is pretty busy. Can I still take a full course load at Post?

Yes, Post University offers flexibility! As a main campus student, you are able to take a combination of online and in-person classes. We also offer a selection of night and weekend courses so, no matter what, you can create a schedule and a path to graduation that will work for you.

Q:

Forming personal connections with my professors is important to me. Will I be able to do that at Post?

Our faculty pride themselves on being accessible and helpful to students, and personal connections is what they do best. You will find contact info on every syllabus so you can always reach out to an instructor if you have a question or need help. Faculty also meets with students in person and virtually, offering extra help and mentorship when needed. The relationships we build with our students often last many years beyond graduation and become an integral part of our students’ networking and career development.

Q:

If I’m interested in traveling during my time at Post, is that an option?

Trips abroad, either with the Honors Program or different academic programs, allow our students to expand their horizons and bring their learning environments beyond the borders of their classrooms and the U.S.

Q:

I like to see all my information in one place. Does Post have a tool that does that?

The Post University Portal is a one-stop-shop for all of your needs as a student. You can access your courses, complete financial aid documents, view your account, schedule, and so much more. The Post Mobile App and Blackboard Learn App also allow you to access your courses and the support services that you need to be successful from anywhere!

Q:

I’m looking for career opportunities and hands-on experiences to complement my studies. Does Post offer anything like that?

Practicums, Internships, and Capstone Field Experience are all available to you as a Post University student. These programs provide valuable opportunities for students to gain practical career knowledge and work experience in their chosen fields, and in many cases, one or more of these could be built right into your degree program depending on your major.
